Its a process. A discovery.
A process of Self discovery.
A journey brings us face to face with ourselves.
A journey shows us not only the world, but how we fit in it.
Does the person create the journey, or does the journey create the person?

Pursue a Dream...

All of us have a few dreams we'd like to see become a reality before we go to heaven. These dreams could have begun in childhood, dreams such as becoming a doctor or a parent. They could also be dreams we've picked up along the road to life as we've grown. Dreams to run a marathon, sit on a front porch of a small country house painting the landscape, or drifting down the Thames...whatever our most cherished dreams may be, they reveal a bit of what our hearts are like, a bit of who God created in us.

Wanting to pursue these dreams isn't selfish. I'ts a natural God inspired desire. However, how you choose to pursue these dreams will depend on what other realities God has woven into your life through the years. Dreams are often reshaped as we grow older.

Dreams don't usually come true all at once. they become a reality step-by-step, not a wave of a magic wand but with true planning, effort and committment. If you think that riding motocross is a God-given desire, one that stirs something deep in your soul, do something about it. In your spare time ride and practice. Watch videos of your mentors in motocross. Research what it would take to fulfill your dream and do it step by step. Plan....Work hard...ask for help and just do it ! Your dream-come-true will help you better understand the nature of your heart, as well as God's heart toward you, in a new and wonderful way.

The Gift of Life

Life is short....how true of a statement..and what you make of your short life can live forever whether you know it or not...

Today my children my two oldest are burying a very good friend. David was a really kind, funny, reckless, amazing person and passed away as a result of an ATV accident a little over a week ago. And you wonder why? He was only 21 years young. He had so much to do still in life, and he always talked about that. He lived on the edge, it's where he wanted to be..push the envelope...be extreme. My kids are so sad, and it makes me so sad too...

When you look at a life that was ended so soon and without any notice, it just seems so unfair. You ask yourself why, and there is no answer. In reading about Miracles in The Course in Miracles it states that: MIRACLES are teaching devices for demonstrating it is as blessed to give as to receive. They simultaneously increase the strength of the giver and supply strength to the receiver. A MIRACLE is never lost. It may touch many people you have not even met, and produce undreamed of changes in situations which you are not even aware...

David is a MIRACLE. Why? His life ended, and in doing so...he gave the gift of life to five other souls in this world and because of his belief in donating his organs, he has produced undreamed of changes in the life of five people, and their families...
